๐ Rugby Alert! The Ospreys are back in Wales and gearing up for an exciting clash against Zebre at their temporary new base in Bridgend this Saturday at 3pm. After their tour in South Africa with some tough matches against the Bulls and Stormers, they’re more than ready for action on home turf.

This match marks a special milestone for Harri Deaves, famously dubbed an ‘absolute dog of a player’ by Shane Williams, as he makes his 50th appearance. With Bridgend’s own Dewi Lake stepping up as captain while Jac Morgan recovers, the team is fired up to channel the electric atmosphere at Brewery Field. As head coach Mark Jones shares, โA crowd of 4,000 feels like 14,000 there โ the energy is incredible!”

Facing a confident Zebre side, who have kicked off their season with style, the Ospreys are eager to notch their first United Rugby Championship victory. Zebre have been in impressive form, but the history books show they’re in for a challenge, given their past struggles on Welsh soil.
Anticipation is building as we switch up the lineup with Morgan Morse stepping in as No. 8 and prop Tom Botha joining the fray. Ross Moriarty shifts to blindside flanker, while James Ratti moves up to the second row.
Hereโs the Ospreys squad ready to make it happen: Jack Walsh, Dan Kasende, Phil Cokanasiga, Keiran Williams, Keelan Giles, Dan Edwards, Kieran Hardy, Gareth Thomas, Dewi Lake (c), Tom Botha, James Ratti, Huw Sutton, Ross Moriarty, Harri Deaves, Morgan Morse.
With the buzz in Bridgend and the passionate Ospreys supporters turning up the volume, it’s bound to be a thrilling match. Letโs get behind our lads and cheer them on to what we hope will be the first of many victories this season! ๐๐
