Parts of the town centre were cordoned off as North Wales Police tackled an “ongoing incident” near the River Dee earlier today. Authorities urged everyone to steer clear of the area while they dealt with the situation. Fortunately, roads are now open, but a police presence remains.
Llangollen Railway extends its deepest condolences to those impacted by the incident. Rest assured, their services are running smoothly, and Llangollen Station is back in action, just in time for the much-anticipated Llangollen Food Festival on October 12 and 13! 🎉
For those planning to visit the festival, note that some disruptions might persist. Stallholders are advised to use alternative routes to ease congestion, and a beloved vintage bus service is currently suspended until further notice.
