The Ospreys have claimed their first victory of the season with a commanding 24-0 triumph over Zebre at Brewery Field, Bridgend! 🎉 Despite tough matches in South Africa topping off their recent tour, Mark Jones’ squad is back with a bang. Although they couldn’t secure the bonus point, the swoop to victory was never in doubt.
Phil Cokanasiga, Morgan Morse, and James Ratti all went over for tries in this one-sided matchup, giving the Ospreys the edge they needed to outclass the Italian side. Cokanasiga opened the scoring after a powerful setup by Keiran Williams. Morse showed his pace with a scintillating run for the second, while Ratti muscled through to cap off the win with a third try.
Despite not clinching that elusive fourth try, the dominance displayed throughout the match was undeniable. The team looked sharp on both ends, frustrating a Zebre side eager to keep their two-win streak alive. Scrum-half Kieran Hardy’s injury was an unfortunate hiccup, but the team’s resilience shone through on the field.
