Many chocolate enthusiasts have been vocal about their disappointment, with one saying, “Cadbury isn’t the same without the Flake,” while others mourn the loss of the Curly Wurly. The new selection holds fewer individual bars, down from 14 to 12, though its weight has increased from 207g to 223g – a bit of a bittersweet trade-off!
Despite the reduction, these bags bring a blend of nostalgia and novelty, perfect for Christmas stockings or Halloween trick-or-treating. Plus, some supermarkets are offering these delight bags at reduced prices with loyalty cards, making it a sweet festive deal. Sainsbury’s has them for just £2 with a Nectar card, and Tesco for £2.50 with a Clubcard.
