Originally from Sutton Coldfield, Kasey had been living in Abu Dhabi for 14 months when tragedy struck at Yas Mall’s Vox Cinema. Just an hour after she left her home with a hug and a smile, her family received the devastating news that she’d collapsed from what is believed to be a cardiac arrest.

Her father, Marc, recalled their final embrace, noting, “She held me so tight, like she knew it was our last hug.” Though emergency responders acted swiftly and medics worked for hours, they were unable to revive her.
