Erol Bulut is back! After more than a year since his Cardiff City exit, the experienced manager has taken the reins at Turkish side Antalyaspor. With a two-year contract in hand, Bulut is ready to lead his new team to glory.

The former Cardiff boss, who made history as the club’s first Turkish manager, is determined to replicate his past successes in Turkey, where he led teams like Fenerbahçe and Alanyaspor to European campaigns. Bulut stressed the importance of unity and adapting to the ever-changing world of football during his unveiling.

“Sailing a ship with a hole requires all hands on deck,” Bulut remarked, emphasising teamwork among players, management, fans, and media. With Antalyaspor currently sitting 10th in the league, Bulut’s focus is on improving performance and fostering confidence within the squad.
The ultimate goal? A cup victory, which, according to Bulut, “is the shortest path to Europe.” Antalyaspor’s president, Rıza Perçin, expressed his faith in Bulut, hoping his experience will usher in a strong new era for the club.
Exciting times lie ahead as Bulut prepares for Antalyaspor’s upcoming league clash with Gaziantep FK. Watch this space as he embarks on this new chapter in his coaching career! ⚽🇹🇷
