📢 Vodafone’s Network Snafu Leaves 130,000 Brits Offline! 📱💻
Are you a Vodafone customer who had a dreaded “No Internet” day? You’re definitely not alone. A “major issue” plunged a whopping 130,000 people into the offline world on Monday, wreaking havoc on broadband, 4G, and 5G services. 📉🌐
The drama kicked off at around 3pm, hitting urban hotspots like London, Birmingham, and Manchester hard. By 4:15pm, the number of affected users had thankfully dropped to 41,000—but the day after a tech meltdown is never easy!
Vodafone has acknowledged the hiccup in their services and sent a message to their customers: “We are aware of a major issue… We appreciate our customers’ patience while we work to resolve this as soon as possible.” 🤞
A breakdown of the chaos revealed that 67% of problems were with fixed-line internet while mobile woes accounted for 25%, and a further 8% just went completely offline.
Frustrations were high with one customer ranting about daily disruptions and another Tweeting: “Just me or have you fallen off the planet? No broadband, no cell signal?” Ouch! 😬
It’s not just recent news. Research shows over half of the UK deals with sketchy broadband at least twice a month. Missed concert tickets, job opportunities, and even streamable funerals have fallen prey to unreliable connections. One person even blamed a breakup on constant broadband blunders!
