Tragedy struck at a cider festival held in the beautiful New Forest when two attendees were discovered dead in their camper van. On Sunday, emergency services responded to the scene on Pound Lane, Burley, where a 38-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man from Blandford Forum were found. Both were sadly pronounced dead on the scene. Our hearts go out to their loved ones during this incredibly tough time.

The duo had been attending a popular craft cider festival over the weekend. New Forest Cider, the event organiser, expressed their deepest condolences, emphasising that the deaths occurred in a private vehicle and were not linked to the festival itself. Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
This somber news reminds us of the importance of cherishing every moment and looking out for one another. Let’s keep the families in our thoughts. If you attended the festival or were in the area, please reach out to the authorities if you might have any information.
