Located at the Seaway Parade Industrial Estate, this innovative site will feature an electrolytic hydrogen production facility, along with a hydrogen tube-trailer filling station.
This groundbreaking development, known as Pioneer 2, is set to produce an impressive 960kg of green hydrogen daily, contributing significantly to the regional demand. Imagine the difference this will make – approximately 3,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions reduced each year! 🌍💚
The project has been welcomed by Neath Port Talbot Council as it aligns with their and the Welsh Government’s ambitious net-zero targets. Protium Green Hydrogen Supply Limited, the company behind this initiative, is leading the way in green hydrogen technology. They’ve already teamed up with the University of South Wales at the nearby Hydrogen Centre, proving their commitment to revolutionising energy production in Wales.
