🎨 Art Heist Drama Unfolds! 🎨

Liam Middleton-Gomm, 36, has confessed to breaking into famed artist Damien Hirst’s studio in west London. On a bold spree, he swiped approximately £5,000 worth of art, gadgets, clothing, and even a pram on June 30th. Some of these stolen treasures were later discovered at his dad’s home!
During a hearing at Kingston Crown Court, Middleton-Gomm owned up to two counts of burglary at the picturesque Thames Wharf Studios. Adding to the plot, his father, Leslie Gomm, 62, previously admitted to handling these stolen goodies to benefit his son. Between June 29th and July 8th, father and son plotted their mischief, but not all swag was recovered—only around £500 worth made it back.

But wait, there’s more! Middleton-Gomm also pleaded guilty to burgling homes on July 9th and 17th, plus an attempted burglary on July 9th. This father-son duo stood side by side in court and are set to learn their fate on October 30th.
For those curious, Damien Hirst, the artist in question, is renowned for his controversial and thought-provoking pieces, from a pickled shark to diamond-encrusted skulls. He’s a legend in the art world, having bagged the Turner Prize in 1995 with his formaldehyde-preserved duo piece, “Mother And Child, Divided.”
Stay tuned for more art saga updates, as we await the final verdict later this month! 🎭🏛️✏️
