π¨ Caught in the Act: Teen’s Drug Run Busted by Off-Duty Officer π

Cardiff witnessed a daring teen drug dealer getting nabbed in a very public fashion! Cody Price, just 19, was making bold moves when he caught the eye of an alert off-duty police officer. Spotted wheeling through the city on his electric bike, Price exchanged cling film-wrapped deals of heroin and crack cocaine for cash. π΄πΈ

The drama unfolded further in Adamsdown when the vigilant officer confronted him. In a bid to escape, Price dropped not only the drugs but also a mobile phone – a treasure trove revealing plans for a full-fledged “drugs line”. The wraps: 13 of heroin and seven of cocaine, valued at over Β£500, were left lying in the wake of his attempted getaway. π±π
A court hearing unveiled even more about his illicit operations. Texts showed intentions to scale up his dealings, mentioning picking up crack cocaine from Splott and even plans on “going out of town” to expand operations. But the law caught up with him! βοΈ
Despite no previous drug-related convictions, Price, currently serving time, pled guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Judge Simon Mills delivered a stern warning β a path of such choices leads only in and out of prison. ποΈ
βHe’s an immature and naive youngster,β stated his defence. Yet, the court was unwavering. Price faces 28 months in a young offenders institution. A cautionary tale in the making! β³
Stay informed and stay safe, Cardiff. Let’s keep our streets clean and our eyes open to make our city safer! ποΈπ
