External investigators have been called to dig into the troubling state of the Hafan y Coed facility at Llandough Hospital. This comes after two shocking reports highlighted severe issues at the Cardiff and Vale-run unit.
🔴 Key issues unearthed by Healthcare Inspectorate Wales included questionable patient restraint practices and staff lacking proper training. Concerns of swollen floors blocking fire doors and pervasive trip hazards surfaced, worsening safety woes for both patients and staff.
