Tragedy struck Glenboi in the early hours of New Year’s Eve as a devastating house fire engulfed a home, leaving one person dead. Emergency services rushed to the scene near Mountain Ash after receiving reports just before 2am. Despite the brave efforts of firefighters and police, a life was lost in the blaze.
The fire broke out on Aberdare Road, prompting a swift response to control the raging flames.
