Check out this thrill-seeking mum who turned an ordinary day into an adrenaline-pumping adventure on Moel Famau! Jane Binns, 47, wowed onlookers as she zoomed down the snow-covered Welsh mountain on a sledge, teaching everyone – including a few struggling youngsters – how it’s really done.
Braving the icy slopes with determination, Jane made the exhilarating descent from the summit back to the car park in a mere four minutes, all while clutching her phone to capture the thrilling ride. She later shared the breathtaking footage on social media, showing her navigating the snowy path, kicking up clouds, and even squealing at some of the bumpier parts.
“I’d rather sledge down Moel Famau than hit a ride at Alton Towers,” Jane shared, her face flushed with the excitement of the ride. “The beauty of the setting sun was the cherry on top.” Despite the challenge of staying on the sledge, Jane’s video has been declared “awesome” and “epic” by viewers, with some admitting they could hardly watch due to its speed!
Jane’s practical advice to a group of young men struggling with their sleds – “Sit upright, keep your legs slightly apart, and brake with your feet” – soon had them gliding down like pros.
