A disturbing case unfolds in Wrexham as Miles Cross, 33, awaits his sentence after admitting to encouraging or assisting suicide. Cross was involved in selling a dangerous chemical online that tragically led to two individuals taking their own lives.

Beginning his illicit operation on an internet forum in July 2024, Cross used a pseudonym to sell the chemical for £100 per order. The transactions were seamlessly carried out via a QR code, with money transferred directly to his bank account. When police raided his home in January 2025, they discovered various materials connected to his online dealings.

In November, Cross pleaded guilty to four charges related to supplying this harmful substance. Among the victims was a 26-year-old woman who died in West Yorkshire on August 22, 2024. Due to legal restrictions, information on the other affected individuals remains undisclosed.
The sentencing is scheduled for January 7 at Mold Crown Court.
