Imagine facing a battle every day of your young life. That’s the reality for little Dolcie-Mae Edwards-Raymond from Newport. Diagnosed with the rare and life-threatening blood disorder, HLH, at just one month old, Dolcie’s fight has been nothing short of courageous.
Her family’s desperate quest for a life-saving stem cell donor captured hearts, even gaining the support of Gavin and Stacey star Rob Brydon. Despite a transplant in March, heartache struck as it failed, leaving Dolcie, now one, in urgent need of another donor.
Her mum, Courtney-Jade Edwards, just 22 years old, voices a plea. “No parent should watch their child battle this hard,” she shares, urging more people to understand the critical need for stem cell donors.
