The violent episode unfolded after a night out, as the trio returned to the woman’s house at 11 p.m. The situation escalated upstairs when Curtis attempted to intervene in a commotion involving the brothers and the woman. The twins then turned on Curtis, launching a relentless attack that landed him on the toilet as their blows continued.

Curtis was punched, kicked, and kneed, his nose broken and face swelling with bruises, while the pair broke down a door to get at him again. The assault was so severe that the bathroom and Curtis were left drenched in blood. The Lewis brothers coldly declared, “Now you can be alone with his dead body as we have killed him,” before leaving the scene.

Police arrived and arrested the twins, whose shoes, including Jordan’s steel toe-capped boots, were stained with Curtis’s blood. Curtis was rushed to the hospital, treated for injuries including a broken nose, fractured cheek, and extensive bruising.

Both brothers have since pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and criminal damage. With prior convictions, the court sentenced Keiron to 45 months and Jordan to three years in prison. Recorder Mark Powell KC condemned their actions, highlighting the betrayal of friendship by turning on someone they knew well.
