Just weeks after bringing her daughter into the world, Nikita discovered a lump on her breast that was initially misdiagnosed as an abscess. When the lump didn’t go away, further tests revealed she was facing a deadly form of sarcoma. But Nikita didn’t let the diagnosis steal her spirit. She fought valiantly for two years, enduring gruelling treatments including a double mastectomy and proton beam therapy, while all the time cherishing her precious moments with Vienna.

Determined to make the most of her time, Nikita even organised a spirited “F*** You Cancer” party, gathering 50 family members and friends for a night to remember. Her story is a powerful reminder of the importance of second opinions and early detection in the fight against cancer.

Throughout her battle, Nikita showed incredible strength and love. “Becoming a mum was a dream come true,” she shared. “It was all I’d wanted since I was a little girl.” Her greatest sorrow was the thought of not seeing her daughter grow up, but she made sure Vienna knew just how loved she was.

Nikita’s sister, Jordanna, beautifully expressed the family’s feelings: “Nikita passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Our girl is at peace now. Rest in paradise, princess; always and forever.”

Let’s share this story to honour Nikita’s memory and champion the warriors who fight against this relentless disease every day. 🌟💔
