🏉 Exciting news for Welsh rugby fans! 🇯🇴 Wales has just unveiled their coaching squad for the upcoming Six Nations, and it’s packed with familiar faces. Head coach Steve Tandy is bringing back former internationals Rhys Patchell, Dan Lydiate, and Duncan Jones.
After a successful autumn stint, Tandy is sticking with this talented trio. Patchell will continue honing the team’s kicking skills, Lydiate is set to bolster the defence, and Jones will work his scrum magic. Joining them are Matt Sherratt and Danny Wilson, handling attack and lineout tactics.
Tandy couldn’t be more thrilled to have these rugby legends onboard again: “It’s fantastic having Duncan, Dan, and Rhys back. Their passion and expertise really fuel our energy.” WRU’s Dave Reddin echoed this sentiment, highlighting the balance and strength this team brings.
For Patchell and Lydiate, this marks their second act in rugby after hanging up their boots last season. Patchell earned 22 caps and Lydiate 72 in their playing days. Jones, who’s been shaping the Ospreys’ forwards since 2018, also continues his impactful journey.
