Wrexham fans, keep your heads up! Despite a tough-to-swallow 2-2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday, our star striker Kieffer Moore has a promise for the critics: we’ll bounce back stronger. Moore, who netted twice, believes the pressure and critics can actually fuel Wrexham to greater heights.

Our boys had a cracking start, racing to a 2-0 lead before Wednesday drew level. The result might have stung, especially after earlier defeats to Southampton and West Brom. But Moore insists: “Pressure is a privilege, and we’re using it to improve. I can promise that!”
Adjusting to new faces and gelling as a team will take a bit of time, says Moore. “It’s about being in those dangerous spots,” said the striker, who joined from Sheffield United. Even boss Phil Parkinson hinted at potential squad adjustments, emphasising the need to keep players fit and ready.

Despite our stumbles, we’ve shown we can mix it up in the Championship. We need to maintain those first-half performances throughout, as Phil pointed out: “We looked like a Championship team in the first half and a First Division team after the break.”
Sheffield Wednesday, also struggling with early defeats and off-field issues, fought back hard. Their captain, Barry Bannan, inspired a second-half comeback that reminded everyone just how unpredictable football can be.
It’s a season of highs and lows, but with determination and support, we’re ready to take on the challenges. Onward and upward, Red Dragons! 🔴⚽️
