🎹 Big news from the legendary Rick Wakeman! The iconic keyboardist from the prog-rock band Yes shared an update about his health. Rick recently underwent successful brain surgery to address a condition called Hydrocephalus, which involves a build-up of fluid in the brain. Thankfully, all went well with the procedure, and he’s back home, recovering with the support of his loving wife and their furry friends. 🏡❤️

Earlier this year, Rick also had spinal cord surgery, which led to the postponement of his American tour. But fear not, fans! He’s on the mend and set to join his son, Oliver Wakeman, for the Wakeman and Son tour coming up this March. 🎶

Rick expressed his gratitude to fans, saying their well-wishes meant the world to him during this challenging time. And don’t worry, his piano skills remain sharp—well, except for the occasional “wrong note” when he loses focus. 😉🎹
Exciting times ahead, as Rick also looks forward to the Saving Strays charity concerts in Norwich and Ipswich on December 19th and 20th. His commitment to music and his fans shines through, even while overcoming health hurdles. 🌟
Here’s to a swift recovery, Rick, and we can’t wait to see you back on stage soon! 🙌 #RickWakeman #Yes #MusicLegend #HealthUpdate #RoadToRecovery #RockOn
