🚨 **Caught in the Act: Fly-Tipper Busted in Newport!** 🚨
You won’t believe the audacity of this one! CCTV cameras have captured a bold fly-tipper casually dumping rubbish in broad daylight on Pottery Road, Pillgwenlly – a notorious fly-tipping hotspot in Newport.
For the past three years, this street has been plagued with everything from used nappies to soiled sanitary products and even animal bones. The mess has become so severe that it’s triggered a significant rat infestation. Imagine families dealing with rodents in their gardens and toddlers spotting them in their play areas!
In an effort to combat the illegal dumping, Newport City Council has installed new CCTV cameras across the city. The latest footage shows someone brazenly disposing of two black bags right by the roadside. The council is on the case, investigating the incident and aiming to slap fines or even prosecute the offender.
Spotted something suspicious? The council is calling on residents to help out. If you have any information about this fly-tipping incident, reach out via phone, email, or through the Newport City Council website.
Let’s keep our city clean and safe! 🌍✨
