Springboks captain Siya Kolisi shares words of encouragement for Welsh rugby fans after a tough 73-0 defeat in Cardiff. Despite the loss, Kolisi praised the experience gained by Welsh players, even drawing parallels to South Africa’s own journey back in 2015 when they faced similar challenges. “The only way for a team to get better is to play against the best,” he remarked, encouraging Wales to stay persistent and united.
Kolisi didn’t hold back when expressing admiration for Welsh talents Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake, highlighting how crucial it is for fans to keep supporting their team on this journey. Reassuringly, he’s optimistic Wales can rebound just as the Springboks did, with clever planning and relentless grit.
Wales coach Steve Tandy acknowledged the tough outing but refrained from blaming the fixture setup. For Tandy, it’s about focusing on rugby itself and learning critical lessons. He remains confident in the team’s future, and dedicated to refining their skills through every opportunity they get, even under challenging circumstances.
The path forward might seem daunting, but with enduring spirit and strategic growth, brighter days could very well be on the horizon for Welsh rugby. Keep an eye on these rising stars as they continue to build on their experiences! 🏉
