A police misconduct hearing is shining a spotlight on PC Pamela Pritchard, who stands accused of crossing the line at a colleague’s leaving do. The 29-year-old officer allegedly got a little too lively at a rugby club party, reportedly twerking on the dance floor, and making unwelcome advances toward colleagues.

But PC Pritchard is adamant these claims don’t represent who she is. She told the panel she has “no recollection” of the incidents, including groping two colleagues and attempting to kiss an inspector. Tearfully, she declared, “I’m not that person,” expressing her deep regret over the allegations and their impact on her personal life and career.

The panel has been shown CCTV footage from the night in question, but Pritchard maintains her innocence, standing firm against the accusations of gross misconduct. She described herself as a “good person” and argued that such behaviour would go against her character.
A colleague, known as PC B, claimed he felt humiliated after Pritchard allegedly groped him twice during the party. He recalled feeling shocked and uncomfortable with her actions. Meanwhile, another officer, PC A, testified that Pritchard inappropriately touched her during the event.
Despite the serious allegations, PC Pritchard denies any intentional wrongdoing and insists any perceived actions were misinterpreted or unintended. She has asked the panel to consider her side, as the hearing continues. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
