Imagine this: a dad, dubbed a “clown”, tearing through Swansea on his motorbike for a whirlwind 90 minutes! It was chaos on two wheels as Ben Norman weaved through traffic, undertook cars, and even zoomed the wrong way around roundabouts. He took his stunts to a whole new level by dashing into a supermarket to swap his clothes. 🏍️💨

Cops had an aerial view of his antics, thanks to a police helicopter joining the spectacle from above. He tore along the hard shoulder of the M4, performed some daring U-turns, and raced down the middle of motorway lanes. Even a red light near Tesco wasn’t enough to slow him down! 🚦

After nearly an hour and a half of mayhem, his escapade ended at the Swansea Enterprise Zone, where he thought a quick outfit change might throw the cops off. Spoiler: it didn’t.

Norman’s ride was called out in Swansea Crown Court, where Judge Huw Rees didn’t hold back, calling him a “clown” for the chaos and danger he caused. Luckily, nobody was hurt, but the judge made it clear that such reckless antics usually land folks in prison. Instead, Norman dodged immediate custody, bagging a suspended 10-month sentence.

The court was told that Norman was struggling with personal issues at the time and was mixing with a bad crowd. Since then, he’s claimed to have turned a corner, ditching Class A drugs and striving to be a responsible dad.

Lesson learnt? Drive safe and keep the show-off antics off the streets! 🛑🛵 Here’s hoping Norman sticks to his new resolution while serving his driving ban and completing his community service. What’s your take on this wild ride? Let us know in the comments! 👇
