Two young dealers caught flashing cash and cocaine have been caught and charged, but their penalties? Surprisingly light! 😮
Traffic Updates

Meet Kurtis Peterson, 19, and Ryan Beirne, 31, who were busted in a major cocaine supply operation in Newport. Found with nearly 100g of the illegal substance worth over £9,000, the duo, along with Kurtis’ older brother Kaine, raked in more than £70,000. But here’s the twist—they’ve been ordered to repay only a fraction of their spoils! 💷

While Kurtis pocketed around £15,499 from his illegal dealings, and Ryan a whopping £54,614, the court ordered them to repay just £2,830 and £355, respectively. If they don’t cough up, a few extra weeks behind bars are awaiting them.

These three ran their operation through bold ‘text bomb’ drug adverts, moving drugs and money via texted directives and caught on shocking phone videos waving wads of cash. 🎥💸

At sentencing, Kurtis was handed 52 months at a young offenders institution, his brother Kaine received 68 months, and Ryan was given 72 months behind bars. Yet, the asset recovery doesn’t quite match the profits they made.

This case has spotlighted just how profitable—and risky—illegal trades can be. What’s your take? Are justice and punishment balanced, or did these dealers get off lightly? Share your thoughts below! ⬇️
