Swansea City is buzzing with excitement under new head coach Vitor Matos! 🌟 Forward Liam Cullen is singing his praises, describing Matos as a “breath of fresh air” who’s transformed the mood at the club. While results didn’t immediately swing in our favour, Cullen believes Matos is laying a solid foundation for future success.
Matos has been focusing on the art of counter-pressing, and while the Swans aren’t the finished article yet, there’s optimism in building on the positive start. Cullen notes that fans and players alike are starting to see Matos’s vision for a more dynamic team.
On the horizon, Matos is eager to complete his backroom staff squad. After some waiting, the arrival of Diogo Medeiros, Toze Mendes, and Goncalo Ricca looks nearly set, with hopes they’ll be ready for the next clash against Welsh rivals Wrexham. Matos believes having his full team in place will only improve the club’s prospects further.
Looking ahead, Swansea City faces a challenging away match against Stoke City. Despite Stoke’s recent struggles, Matos considers them a top-notch Championship side, packed with versatility and a clear game plan. 👊 The Swans are ready to meet the challenge with full concentration, aiming to notch up a third straight win.
