🚨 Heads up, everyone! The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for many parts of Wales, with some areas expected to be hit by up to 100mm of rain. The warning suggests there’s potential for a “threat to life” from fast-flowing or deep floodwaters. 🌧️💦

The affected areas include Bridgend, Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and Swansea. This warning kicks in from 3 am to 9 pm on Monday. We’re looking at widespread rain of 80mm in places, with chances of severe conditions in some regions.

Flooding of homes and businesses is likely, so it’s time to prepare and stay alert. 🚪💧 Roads could become dangerous, and public transport might see disruptions. There’s also a possibility of power cuts. Make sure to have your torches and essentials ready!

And that’s not all. Two yellow weather warnings are also coming into effect – one from Sunday afternoon covering mid and north Wales (including Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, and Powys) until Monday. The second warning covers midnight Monday for much of the south and west. Affected areas include Blaenau Gwent, Cardiff, and more.
Stay safe, everyone! Keep an eye on road conditions, avoid unnecessary travel, and check in on friends and family. 🌧️📲
Stay tuned for updates, and let’s weather this together! 🌧️💪 #WalesWeather #StaySafe #FloodAlert
