🎩⚖️ Bar brawl turns brutal! Christopher Moore, 31, unprovokedly attacked Nathan Cheshire with a broken bottle, leaving him with 40 stitches and a permanent reminder of the night. Both were staying at the Three Saints Hotel in Llantrisant on June 10 when the situation escalated.

In court, Moore claimed that he was mocked for his Irish accent, but the judge wasn’t having it. Witnesses saw him purposely arm himself with a bottle, then approach the group under the guise of asking for a cigarette, before launching his assault.
Mr Cheshire bravely shared his experience in court, highlighting the lasting impact. “The scar is a constant reminder, both physically painful and emotionally scarring,” he stated. His injuries have left him unable to work as a groundworker, a tough blow to his ability to earn a living.

Moore, already having a history of 30 offences including racially aggravated actions and threats, was finally sentenced to six years behind bars with an additional three years on licence. His defence argued his struggles with paranoid schizophrenia and a tough upbringing, but the judge remained firm, labelling the attack “savage and meaningless.”
