Tragic Loss in the Racing World 💔

We are deeply saddened to hear about the tragic passing of Bronte Simpson, a rising star in the horse racing community, only 24 years old. 🙏 Her promising career and life were cut short in a car accident on Monday night near Dubbo.

Bronte, who had a bright future ahead of her, was well-loved in the racing circles. Her car reportedly swerved off the road, hitting a tree. Despite the efforts of passers-by and emergency services, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her death has left a huge void in the tight-knit Australian racing community.
Tony Crisafi of the NSW Jockeys’ Association expressed the deep shock and heartbreak shared by many, saying, “We’ve lost a member of our family in this devastating event.” The Association has pledged support for the young riders who were close to Bronte, ensuring they receive the necessary help during this difficult time.
Bronte’s professional achievements were remarkable, with 14 wins under her belt, alongside her mentor Jane Clement. Social media is already flooded with heartfelt tributes for this talented jockey. Fellow jockeys and supporters remember her for her spirit and dedication.
In an emotional tribute, Jaylah Kennedy said, “Sending love and light to all of Bronte’s family and friends.” It’s a tragic end to a life that held so much promise. 💐
Bronte launched her career earlier this year, overcoming past injuries to show her true potential. Her first race on Stylebender in Muswellbrook marked the beginning of what could have been an extraordinary journey.
Our deepest condolences are with Bronte’s family, friends, and all those who admired her. 💫 Rest in peace, Bronte. Fly high. 🕊️
