Tragedy on Barry Road: A Heartbreaking Loss 💔
In an unimaginable twist of fate, 38-year-old Kamran Aman, a devoted father, lost his life while helping his elderly mum with her shopping. What should have been a simple act of kindness turned into a horrific tragedy on June 30, 2025, when Kamran was fatally stabbed by two teenagers in Barry.
The two boys, aged 16 and 17, spotted Kamran through a window and, fuelled by alcohol and anger, began an unprovoked attack. Earlier that day, the 16-year-old had disturbingly vowed violence, and when he saw Kamran, he erupted, trying to force his way into Kamran’s car shouting aggressively.
As tensions escalated, the 17-year-old fetched a knife, and together, they brutally attacked Kamran. Witnesses described them acting like “pack animals,” as they landed the fatal blow to his heart, all while uttering abhorrent racist abuse.
Despite neighbourhood efforts to save him, Kamran’s life was tragically cut short. The teenagers fled, allegedly bragging about their actions, but were swiftly apprehended by the police.
Kamran’s family is shattered. His wife, Khaleela, shares that an “immeasurable void” has been left, and their young daughter is struggling without her hero dad.
The court case reached a grim conclusion with both teens convicted of murder, despite their denials of intent. Their sentencing awaits, bringing hope of justice for Kamran’s grieving family.
