🚨 Big changes on the horizon for Welsh rugby! 🚨
Rumour has it that Rhys Long, a close ally of Warren Gatland, is in the running for a top role with the Welsh Rugby Union. Long, currently with the FA as their head of performance analysis, might just be the perfect fit for WRU’s new technical director position. Insiders say he’s highly rated and could make a big impact! 💼🏉
Meanwhile, Ospreys prop Gareth Thomas is turning heads across the border! Despite his contract until 2028, both Exeter Chiefs and Leicester Tigers are keen on him, eyeing a possible break clause. Could a move to England be on the cards? 🤔💪
Leicester is also eyeing up Ospreys outside-half Dan Edwards with a lucrative three-year deal. Rumours suggest that the current cap rule might be scrapped, making a switch more tempting. Will the young talent make the leap? ✨💷
In other news, Kieran Hardy from the Ospreys has been exploring his options. While Gloucester and Cardiff are on the table, his current team isn’t giving up on keeping him. 📈
Welsh legend Taulupe Faletau may bid farewell to Cardiff for a lucrative offer in Japan. At 35, this could be a golden opportunity for one last run in the land of the rising sun. 🇯🇵✨ And Josh Adams, initially set for R360, seems to be staying at Cardiff after the league’s postponement.
Lastly, there’s buzzing interest in Exeter Chiefs lock Christ Tshiunza from Wales and other Premiership clubs. Fingers crossed he’s part of Steve Tandy’s plans! 🤞
Will Alec Hepburn leave the Scarlets for Edinburgh? Only time will tell in this whirlwind of player movements! 🌪️🏉
