Cardiff City battled it out at Adams Park, leaving with a 1-1 draw against Wycombe Wanderers. The Bluebirds, supported by over 1,750 travelling fans, dominated but couldn’t convert that control into a win. Chris Willock gave Cardiff an early lead with a deflected strike after just six minutes. Yet Wycombe’s Caolan Boyd-Munce responded directly from a corner, levelling the score by the 30th minute.

The match saw plenty of action, with promising chances created by Cardiff. Joel Colwill hit the crossbar, and Fred Onyedinma missed a great opportunity for Wycombe. In the second half, Cardiff pushed hard, creating chances through Yousef Salech and Callum Robinson, but Wycombe’s defence held firm. Robinson missed a golden opportunity, and Salech’s late header was cleared off the line.

Despite the draw, Cardiff’s relentless effort showcased their quality and determination. With a mixed starting XI and strategic substitutions by Brian Barry-Murphy, such as bringing on Calum Chambers and Ollie Tanner, Cardiff kept pressing for the win. However, a second goal remained elusive.
Cardiff’s line-up included Trott, Ng, Lawlor, Osho, Kpakio, Wintle (C), Robertson, J. Colwill, Kellyman, Willock, and Salech. Substitutes were Turner, Chambers, Fish, Turnbull, Tanner, Ashford, and Robinson.
Keep cheering on the Bluebirds as they continue their quest in the league! 💙⚽️ #CardiffCity #Bluebirds #FootballDramas
