🎭 An Unbelievable Comeback Alert! 🎉
Welsh drag sensation, Ceri Dupree, has made a miraculous return to the stage after an unbelievable brush with death. In September 2025, just after a show in Penzance, Ceri suffered a massive heart attack followed by a stroke whilst driving back to Cardiff. His quick-thinking assistant and dear friend, Lee Humphreys, sprang into action, performing life-saving CPR until medics arrived. For 26 nail-biting minutes, Ceri’s heart had stopped, but thanks to Lee’s heroic efforts, he was brought back against all odds.
Hospitalised and placed in an induced coma, the performer faced a tough road ahead. Doctors warned his family about the high chance of brain damage due to oxygen deprivation. But Ceri defied expectations, and after a week in intensive care, he began to show signs of recovery. Remarkably, just weeks after, he was not only up but was also determined to return to what he loves most—performing!
Fast forward five months, and Ceri is ready to dazzle his fans at his much-anticipated birthday show in Swansea on January 24th. The return to the stage is more than just a performance; it’s a celebration of resilience and the unstoppable force of friendship and community. Reflecting on his recovery, Ceri credits his survival to fate, friends, and fantastic medical care. “If I’d been alone, I wouldn’t have survived,” he admits, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the lifesavers by his side.
Lee, still shaken by the ordeal, admits, “We never thought he’d work again. It’s going to be a very emotional night—seeing him back in his element.”
Ceri’s journey back has been steady and determined. From 157 get-well cards to cherished visits from friends, the love and support he received played a crucial role in his recovery. Now, he’s taking it slow, but his passion for performing remains as vibrant as ever.
Don’t miss the chance to witness Ceri’s incredible comeback and the magic of his performance. It’s sure to be a night filled with emotion, laughter, and inspiration! 🌟❤️
