💥 Gym Turns Nightmare for Members! 💥

Imagine signing up for a gym and then it disappears, leaving you high and dry! Naked Ground, a Cardiff-based gym, hit the headlines and not in a good way. This once-favorite fitness hub, co-founded by England cricketer Tom Curran and backed by his brother Sam, shut its doors in November, leaving members scrambling for answers and refunds.

The gym, which once boasted coffee shops in Ibiza and London and charged upwards of £34.99 a month, suddenly locked its doors with zero notice. But that’s not all—the drama unfolded as the business continued to charge members even after closure! 😳
Confused and furious members were promised swift refunds, yet months have passed and their accounts are still debit-hit with membership fees! Naked Ground’s website still advertises memberships, but email inquiries are met with radio silence, and calls are going unanswered. 📵
Members tried reaching out via social media, only to find their comments deleted, leading to added frustration. One customer, who prepaid £125, found himself blocked after commenting on Tom Curran’s Instagram. Another customer, shocked to see charges for January, is asking, “How is this legal?”
Despite Naked Ground claiming closure due to “disagreements with the landlord,” their lack of communication has left members feeling ignored and out of pocket. The gym’s director, Gavin Wright, is nowhere in sight, while the Curran brothers distanced themselves, saying they were mere investors.
With bailiffs involved and equipment vanished, members are left questioning the integrity of the fitness brand that promised so much more. Naked Ground had aimed to score big in both sports and business. Now, it’s just a sad chapter of mismanaged dreams and disappointed customers.
