Swansea City fans have taken the internet by storm, selling their free Snoop Dogg towels for eye-watering sums on eBay—over £100 in some cases! During a thrilling match against Preston North End, the buzz wasn’t just about the 1-1 draw but the star-studded appearance of none other than Snoop Dogg himself.
The iconic rapper turned heads at the Swansea.com Stadium, making his grand debut at a Swansea City game after acquiring a minority stake in the club last summer. Snoop was met with a rockstar welcome as he did a lap around the pitch, while fans waved special towels featuring his image and the phrase “Make Some Noise.”
These towels became instant collector’s items, with 20,000 given out to fans and quickly popping up for sale online. Whether it’s pure Snoop Dogg fever or love for Swansea, these towels are fetching quite the price tag—a glance at eBay shows listings exceeding £100. Some are already attracting bids ranging from £36 to just over £40.
And if you’re one to get swept up in Snoop mania, the club’s online store has you covered with its exclusive ‘Swansea City x Snoop Dogg’ collection, featuring trendy tees, hoodies, and jackets priced between £25 and £60.
In a night packed with excitement and music royalty, it’s safe to say Swansea City stole the headlines, proving that a little Snoop Dogg flair goes a long way!
