🏉 Sir Clive Woodward is fuming after England’s shocking defeat to Italy in the Six Nations! The former World Cup-winning coach isn’t holding back, saying England are miles better than Italy. But with three losses on the trot, the pressure is mounting on coach Steve Borthwick.
Woodward’s beef? It’s not the players but the tactics, calling them out as England’s biggest downfall. “England’s performances aren’t matching their resources,” he claims. Woodward thinks Italy nailed the basics with a game plan that highlighted England’s flaws.
Despite the fiery criticism, Borthwick stands firm, believing he’s still the right man for the job. He acknowledges it’s a rough patch but insists the team’s development over the past year shows promise for the future. It’s been a not-so-smooth Six Nations, and tensions are high!
Can Borthwick turn things around and silence the critics, or will this be a turning point for English rugby? Share your thoughts below! 🏴🔥
