🚗💥 Drama unfolded outside a Swansea school as a car reportedly driven recklessly crashed near Olchfa School. The incident, which left parents on edge, occurred shortly after classes ended for the day. Witnesses claim to have seen the black BMW speeding past the school before losing control and hitting railings near Miller & Carter on Gower Road.
Local police confirmed they responded to the scene, revealing that adverse weather conditions caused the driver to skid out of control. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the crash has sparked concerns among parents, given the number of pupils usually in the area at that time. One relieved mum shared, “My son had just left the library at 3:30 pm. I’m so grateful he was safe, but it’s terrifying to think of what could have happened.”
The timing raises questions, as Olchfa is a bustling school with lots of kids milling about after 3 pm. Imagine the chaos if it had happened just 30 minutes earlier!
South Wales Police reassured locals, confirming no further action was needed this time. Stay safe out there, folks! 🌧️🚔
