The court case revealed that Bardich’s mobile had fired off a staggering 1,366 texts to potential buyers, advertising Class A drugs. While he admitted to multiple drug-related charges, the court heard he turned to dealing due to his inability to work without legal status and his own personal struggles.

Despite having a history of theft and fraud, Bardich’s lawyer highlighted his desperate situation, stating his client wasn’t living the high life, but rather trying to scrape by. Fleeing Morocco in 2014 because of his sexuality, Bardich found himself entangled in the dark world of drugs in the UK.
