🚁 Tragic Crash on A499: Man Loses Life, Two Airlifted to Hospital 🚑
A devastating crash near Y Ffôr on the A499 has claimed the life of a young man. Around 10 PM, emergency services were called to the scene where three individuals were injured. Two of them were flown to Stoke University Hospital by air, thanks to the rapid response of the Wales Air Ambulance and the Coastguard helicopter. A third person received treatment en route to the hospital by road ambulance.
Local MP Liz Saville Roberts expressed her condolences, saying, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic death near Pwllheli. My heart goes out to his family and friends.” She also praised the emergency teams for their quick action under difficult circumstances.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed they deployed four ambulances, a high acuity response unit, and several managers to handle the situation. Advanced critical care was provided to those in need.
