🚨 Rubin Colwill Update 🚨
Cardiff City’s Rubin Colwill is heading home from the Wales camp to focus on his club’s promotion push! After picking up a minor hamstring complaint, he’s sitting out Wales’ friendly against Northern Ireland to be match-ready for Cardiff’s big games ahead.
Rubin was originally named in Craig Bellamy’s squad, but didn’t feature in the World Cup play-off against Bosnia. With Cardiff keenly eyeing their League One promotion, Colwill is eager to ensure he’s fit and firing on all cylinders for the remaining fixtures.
Next up for the Bluebirds is Peterborough away on Easter Monday, followed by what could be a promotion decider against Bolton next Saturday! Colwill, who’s been a key player since returning from a previous injury, aims to make a big impact in the remaining seven games. Let’s hope he’s back to his goal-scoring best and ready to help his boyhood club return to the Championship!
Meanwhile, Wales will also need to manage without Jordan James, who returned to Leicester City due to an injury, and possibly Daniel James, who’s due a fitness check after experiencing cramp in the Bosnia match.
Can Cardiff clinch promotion, and will Rubin be the difference-maker? Share your thoughts below! ⚽🔵
