🎶 Cardiff’s Concert Controversy: Big Bucks & Big Acts! 🎶
Last summer was sizzling in Cardiff, with concerts featuring Alanis Morissette, Noah Kahan, Stevie Wonder, and Will Smith setting the city alight! 🌟 These events rocked Blackweir Fields and Cardiff Castle, but it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Locals had their feathers ruffled over concerns for wildlife and park access. 🌿
Despite the drama, the concerts were a financial hit, bringing in over £600,000! 🎉 The funds have supported local park enhancements and grassroots music projects, adding to the city’s vibrant scene. While Blackweir Live 2025 might have stretched their park days a bit, the council is ensuring 2026 goes by the book with new planning permissions. 📅
The line-up for this year is already creating buzz, with stars like Pitbull, Lewis Capaldi, The Cure, and Teddy Swims ready to grace the stage from June 24th. 🎤 So, Cardiff, are you ready for another unforgettable musical summer? 🎵
