🏴 Football drama at Cardiff City Stadium! Wales head coach Craig Bellamy didn’t hold back after a disappointing first half against Northern Ireland. The teams ended in a stalemate, but Bellamy’s halftime pep talk was anything but calm!
He described the initial performance with some colourful language and stressed, “We cannot be that!” The fiery coach emphasised the need to win duels and avoid complacent passing. Bellamy is determined to see his team rise above being just ‘average.’
Despite improvements after the break, worries arose when rising star Dylan Lawlor was taken off just 15 minutes after coming on. But fear not, Bellamy assures us there’s no need to worry! Lawlor took a knock, and with Cardiff City’s League One promotion in sight, Bellamy decided not to risk it. He wants Lawlor fit and ready for a promotion charge, recognising what an experience like that could do for the youngster’s growth and the club.
