⛈️ Brace yourselves, folks! Storm Dave is crashing our Easter weekend plans with wild winds and rain! The Met Office has sounded the alarm, issuing a yellow wind warning covering eight areas in Wales. 🚨

Expect gusts up to 70mph on the Welsh coast, with the possibility of 80-90mph in the most exposed spots! 😲 This means there’s a risk of large waves, flying debris, and even a ‘danger to life’. 🌊💨

Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect:
🌤️ Saturday starts off calm with a bit of sunshine but hold onto your hats! By 2pm, gusts of up to 49mph are expected in Caernarfon, and the winds keep gaining strength through the day. Coastal areas in the south could face gusts above 50mph! The real storm kicks in at 5pm as the warning takes effect.
🌪️ By 8pm, the winds intensify further. Caernarfon could see gales above 60mph, with similar fierce winds along the south coast.
🌙 As night falls, the worst of the winds will have swept through.
🌬️ Overnight into Sunday, winds in the north will ease but Pembrokeshire might still see gusts close to 45mph. By 7am, the yellow warning lifts, but don’t pack away those jackets just yet!
Easter Sunday promises sunshine peeking through scattered showers. It’ll feel chillier than previous days with a fresh breeze. 🌦️ If you’re looking for some warmth, hang tight until Monday for some much-needed sun! ☀️
Stay safe, keep updates handy, and hope for calmer skies ahead! 🙏💨 #StormDave #WeatherAlert #EasterWeekendWeather
