🏉🐝 Andy Powell knows how to make an entrance! Arriving at a charity match in true style, Powell turned up at Penarth RFC for the Welsh Barbarians showdown in a golf buggy! 🚗💨
This isn’t Powell’s first joyride on a buggy, but this time it was all in good spirits to support Penarth RFC after a devastating fire. Fans erupted in cheers as the former Wales and British Lions star waved and joined his teammates on the field.
The match not only celebrated a 125-year-old tradition between Penarth and Welsh Barbarians but also marked the first game since the fire. The event raised much-needed funds for the club’s repair and future plans to become a community hub. 🏗️🏉
Also taking part were legends Allan Bateman and Bradley Davies. With a roaring crowd and a touch of nostalgia, the day was a major success, helping raise thousands towards rebuilding efforts! 🙌
Let’s hear it for community spirit and a bit of fun on the field! 🎉👏 #Rugby #CommunitySpirit #AndyPowell #GolfBuggyAntics
