🚨 Disturbing case: A man from Carmarthenshire faces justice for possession and distribution of harrowing indecent images. Jamie McCallum, from Cross Hands, was found with some of the worst material police have seen, featuring children as young as two. The grim haul included 331 Category A images, some over 10 minutes long, depicting horrific abuse.

McCallum was involved in a network where he exchanged these appalling images at least 32 times over eight months. His actions were described in court as part of a twisted “fantasy,” yet this doesn’t soften the blow of his crimes.

After a police raid in October 2024, officers seized several electronic devices, uncovering hundreds of images accessed over three years. Caught red-handed, McCallum even bragged to others online about the abuse he witnessed, chillingly describing it as the “best time of his life.”
Despite admitting to the offences, he offered “no comment” during police questioning. Now, the Swansea Crown Court has sentenced him to 13 months in custody and slapped him with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
This case is a stark reminder of the sinister underbelly lurking online and the crucial work being done to protect vulnerable children. Let’s hope justice serves to protect the innocent and discourage such revolting acts. #JusticeServed #ProtectOurChildren #CarmarthenshireNews
