🚨 Heads up, folks! Royal Mail delivery delays are hitting parts of Wales. 🚚📦
If you’re in Barry, Pontyclun, or Deeside, expect your post to take a bit longer to arrive. Unfortunately, a mix of high staff absences and other local issues means the postie might not show up every day in some areas. Royal Mail is working hard to minimise delays by rotating deliveries and offering local offices extra support.
We know it’s a pain, and they’ve apologised for any inconvenience caused. They’re committed to bouncing back to their usual reliable service as soon as possible. 🤞
Meanwhile, the cost of posting a letter has jumped up! First Class stamps now set you back £1.80, and Second Class stamps are 91p. As letter volumes drop but more addresses crop up, these price hikes are their way of adjusting to delivery costs.
Despite the hiccups, Royal Mail assures us it’s not all doom and gloom and that they’re genuinely sorry for the disruption. Let’s hope they get back on track soon! 📮💌
If you’re affected, hang in there and keep your eye out for your postie doing the rounds! 📫✨
