🚨 Someone’s gone shopping in their pyjamas and forgotten their wallet! 🚙💨 A woman in a silver Audi, spotted on CCTV, filled up her tank at two different service stations in Gwynedd before allegedly driving off without paying. 😮 With fuel prices soaring thanks to global tensions, it seems petrol thefts are on the rise across the UK.
Cain Williams, from a local garage in Sarn, near Pwllheli, shared his frustration: “She took around £56 of fuel, and it’s a big hit for us, especially being a small business.” 🤦♂️ This isn’t something the rural area is used to, with him mentioning, “I don’t remember it ever happening here in our six years.”
The first incident was noted on April 5, with a second, similar occurrence happening just a day later at another service station near Trawsfynydd. 🚔 North Wales Police have confirmed they’re on the case, but no arrests have been made yet.
