Early Saturday morning, a dramatic scene unfolded at Greenfield Dock in Flintshire when someone was spotted in the water, sparking an urgent emergency response. Thanks to a quick-thinking member of the public who raised the alarm, multiple emergency services sprang into action. The Coastguard, RNLI, police, and ambulance service all coordinated swiftly, ensuring the person was safely located and is now receiving necessary care.
According to North Wales Police, this multi-agency response exemplifies the importance of collaboration during such incidents. They stated, “We came together under JESIP guidelines, ensuring that all emergency services worked harmonically to resolve the situation quickly and safely.” And they really did, managing to bring the situation under control in around 20 minutes!
