🏉 Tough Break for Scarlets in Narrow Bulls Clash! 🔥
What an intense match it was at Parc y Scarlets as the home team put up a fierce fight against the Bulls, just falling short at 23-21. The Scarlets ran in three tries compared to the Bulls’ two, but it was South African Handre Pollard’s accurate kicks that made the difference with 13 points. Despite the defeat, there were some standout moments and performances from the Scarlets squad:
🌟 Debut Delight: Youngster Callum Woolley shone on his dream debut, crossing over for a try and despite a hiccup early on, he showed resilience and promise!
🏆 Captain Courageous: Fletcher Anderson led by example with his powerful try and was the top performer in tackles and carries. His leadership on the night was a real highlight!
🔄 Solid Effort All Around: The likes of Eddie James and Blair Murray put in some crucial carries and tackles, each showing grit and determination. While Joe Hawkins’ vision was key in setting up opportunities, he had some unlucky misses at the tee which proved costly.
💪 Defensive Battles: Players like Kemsley Mathias and Ryan Elias stood firm against a tough Bulls pack, showcasing their tackling prowess.
It was certainly a night of what-ifs, but the Scarlets can hold their heads high with several individual performances sparking hope for future encounters. Keep your eyes on this team – there’s plenty more to come! 🔴⚪
